Chou is one of Taiwanese indigenous tribes, now less than three thousand people living in Ali Mountains. Faced to the modernized society, new generation are struggling between their tradition and the western education. In near future, all Chou will forget where they come from possibly, they know it also, so nowadays the old keep their festival, custom, pattern, teaching the young remember, even they are passing away. To pay respect to one of my favorite photographers, Jimmy Nelson, "before they are passing away".
