I’m always fascinated by the beauty of shapes - often these glorious lines are hidden, but are easily uncovered if you look closely. Ironically, shapes can be far more intriguing than the "whole" of most anything. It holds true for this flower petal (Iris), as my eye is drawn to the abstract intricacies it presents. The petal is mimicked by its other half, creating a mirrored effect. The curvaceous lines take on a feminine human form providing sensual movement. Separately, I can imagine the wing of a bird as it moves slowly, precisely through a thermal. You might liken this process to a view of the sky and the clouds within - take a breath and share your personal interpretation of those wonderfully puffy formations!
