I’m amazed by the simplest of things - often, those overlooked things. Seeking shapes, their arrangements and stand-out features, infinite opportunities will pop up in my frame. Here the harsh steel structure is tamed when examined closely. The triangular shapes form in multiple directions almost chaotically, but come together in perfect harmony as they find their places, side by side, creating an appealing order. The shutter stays open for 50 seconds to smooth out the sky and deliver an uncompromising background that serves only to enhance the lines of the bridge. I’m drawn to the contrasting rounded shape of the lamp. It stands alone. But it shines brightly - literally and figuratively. It will not be ignored.
