“La Diablada” from Argentinian photographer Gaby Herbstein. His recent series, “La Diablada” is a work that documents a wonderful popular celebration that takes place every year in the Northern Jujuy province, Argentina. Entire populations prepare year-round for this unique festival, born from the Andean resignification of hispanic tradition, Aymara, such as carnival and religious allegory. Gaby Herbstein, traveled in February this year to Jujuy in order to capture during those eight days and nine nights in that the ceremony takes place, and to show the world, the intense forces that encourage her.
