The effects of mass production and consumption are visible not only in the climate and landscape changes but as well in our private micro-worlds. The products and byproducts of the consumerism take more and more of our space and attention. The omnipresence of excessive packaging, postal materials, promotional gadgets and prints, electronic accessories, a ridiculous amount of clothes, boots, detergents, cosmetics, medications - all of that constitutes the image of the contemporary world. I find it worrying and frustrating but at the same time fascinating. My project is a reflection on the condition of the contemporary material culture and my relationship with objects and material I am surrounded with in a daily life.
