Entry Description

I was taking pictures when we happened upon this beautifully restored 1955 Cadillac Eldorado. After taking a few pictures of it, we went to a little Mexican restaurant for dinner. A gentleman came up to our table to thank me for taking pictures of his car. We discussed how beautiful it is and I told him I would share my post edit photos with him. He told us how he came to have the car. It belonged to Marjorie Jackson, heiress of the Standard Grocery Store chain. Years ago he had asked her if he could buy it from her, and she refused multiple times. He had given up on ever having it, when several years past the murder of her untimely and unfortunate death, someone found it deteriorating in a barn. They contacted the gentleman, and he was finally able to purchase it and restore it to its formal beauty.
