"Connections" Observing Chimpanzee behaviour is almost like looking in the mirror. Connection and love, not only in humans, is cultivated through trust, respect, kindness and affection. Here, mother and son tenderly care for and groom one another as they would every day. This interaction between family members keeps ties strong and keeps the connection alive, maybe a behaviour that, sadly, is becoming more and more lost in our own species. Very special and unforgettable moments in Mahale National Park, Tanzania and probably one that touched my heart more than any other moment in nature.
