A common motif in both my fashion and fine-art photography is strong, empowered women, combined with a bit of quirkiness. With this image, the goal was simple: to deliver a bold and unashamed presence, cast in a slightly abstracted manner. I wanted to create a thoughtfully composed yet simple image that played with colour and line, grabbing and holding the viewer's attention.
