The Horn of Africa is suffering the worst drought in decades. Most of the Turkana’s population in northern Kenya lives below the poverty line, and they do not have enough water to drink. The main water sources are simple wells dug into dry, often contaminated, riverbeds. Their pastoralist way of life is under threat and people here are trying to find new ways to feed their families, like fishing and gardening.
