Following a nearly year-long revolution, Yemen is on the brink of change. A Gulf Cooperation Council brokered deal led Yemen to a one-man election in February 2012, in hopes of stopping the violence and transitioning Yemen into a democracy. Yet a fine balance must be maintained for Yemen to make a peaceful transition. The people remain hopeful yet skeptical, the remnants of the incomplete revolution obvious on the streets and in the government.
