Many things walk into our life quietly, but they were past and gone without
being realized. Just like the scenery on the way back home sometimes can be familiar
yet new. This is my motivation of "The circle of the city". I try to capture the
different aspects of Taiwanese cities in our time and rearrange the images in
typological arrays, hoping to record the ever-changing and eternal scenes of
the city.
"The circle of the city" shows how we see and perceive our city. Water towers are the sources of the city. Benches show people's interaction and their gestus.
Telephone booths and windows represent the contradiction that people want to be connected yet isolated. And finally, everything will go out in the end.
