This series of 'vintage' portraits speaks on two levels. Superficially, there is the guarded stance of the antelopes on account of the lion prowling in their midst. The treatment of the images, however, also makes a statement about how all this could soon be history - a series of faded and stained portraits of the nobility we once knew.
