Situated in the Old City of Aleppo in a no man’s land between Free Syrian Army (FSA) and Syrian Army positions the Dar Al-Ajaza mental hospital has been bombed several times. There are about 60 patients and 8 of them have died so far, the last one few days ago. They are living in very poor conditions without electricity, running water, or medicines. The doctors who used to take care of them ran away when the war reached the city and they would never have survived but for the neighbours who are in charge of their food.
