What used to be a sign of agricultural labour and working class is now, in occidental societies, a way of showing wealth, success and beauty.
Thierry Bouët followed beachgoers and workers in their quest for this beauty acquired through our star. Paris, New York, Marbella, Bora Bora. Every corner of these places is now appropriate for a perpendicular facing to sun rays. People are not enjoying anymore, they are waiting for a return on their investment by a cutaneous result.
Each photography is taken at zenithal hour with full sunlight.
