Cassidy: I found my mum dead in her bedroom. Her boyfriend had sliced her arms thirty-seven times. I was six years old. I want to have my own business, so when I have some money I can make somewhere where the homeless can stay. I am so blessed. I need to give back and show God that I appreciate instead of just taking and taking all the time.
Sonja: People don’t really come here just for sex. This is so much more about the human interaction, physical touch and being given attention, that’s what they come here for. I don’t have a problem with charging for sex because in order to receive you have to give. That’s what we do here, we have an exchange; a value is placed on the experience.
Nikki Lee: I’m six months pregnant. I’ve done this for two months because I lost my job, and no one is hiring pregnant girls, so I came here. My sister was here, but it was my mom who suggested I came here. It’s hard being pregnant having sex, I just close my eyes and put myself somewhere else...somewhere I want to be. I’ve never done this before. After my baby boy is born I probably will not come back here. I’m certified to do something else. It cost me a lot of money to get certified so I might as well go do it. I’m a flagger in road construction that holds a sign ‘stop/slow’ on the side of the road. I was just scared to do it pregnant.
Hayley: I think the best part about this job is bringing happiness to people’s lives. When a customer leaves here with an experience that he can remember for a lifetime, and it will bring a smile to his face, that’s the best part of the job. My Grandpa is very proud of me, he even told me so. He said it was actually a very honourable profession. It’s the oldest profession in the world and very honourable. We’re in a safe environment, we’re clean, and that’s what makes it O.K.
Sabrina Dawn: I love sex, more than ever now that I’m older. I’m completely bisexual; I haven’t got a preference at all. I’ve got children by a man, but I’ve had long term relationships with women. Me and my girlfriends raise our kids kind of together; we co-raise. I would consider having a child with a woman. I am a very open person, very honest, very up front; which is very intimidating to a lot of people. I am very free spirited. Coming here has been one of the highlights of my life.
