The series was shot in New Zealand's South Island. Whilst shooting landscapes it occurred to me that these rugged and remote landscapes would make the ultimate rugby playgrounds. The south island is a stronghold of New Zealand grass roots rugby so the marriage of the two was a perfect fit.
