This body of work is a broken narrative depicting a woman’s devotion to passion through freezing performances on still images. It’s a narrative mixed with my imaginations and real experiences. In the work, the daily life objects and environments are linked to real events while the interactions with them and alteration of the space are blended with fantasy. I constructed an imaginary world to examine and set free my inner emotions and desire. Each action in these images is fictional; however, every action is real in my mind and happens in my body. Through representing those imaginations and real events, the lost and desire in the past, present and future were manifested. The clean tone and the artificiality of the images are used to convey the fakeness of this imagination. The emotions associated to the actions are painful and struggling. Although the narrative itself is personal, the ambiguity of the actions going on allows evoking viewers’ own mental experiences and sensual response.
