Photographies from 'W hour' series are comprised of several portraits of Warsaw Insurgents, portraited in meaningful places for them - in assembly points of 'W hour'. 'W - Hour' was the moment of the beginning of the Warsaw Uprising that started on 1st August 1944, in Warsaw occupied by Nazi Germany. The places that seem to be just small dots on a map of Warsaw now, were to be a freedom gate seventy years ago, a passage for better tomorrow. The places, were hopes interwoved with enormous uncertainty, where certain epoch were to be ended, epoch full of fear, humiliation, discrimination and unreasonable death. Although The Warsaw Uprising ended with terrific defeat, it was a loud shout of craving freedom that spreaded throughout the whole Europe.
