They fly. Just as they did before in the water or in the clouds. They fly eternally. There on the sand, wings and fins have strange similarities. Feathers or scales, air or water, in the non-life these beings resemble each other. The glimpse of a genesis where the original cell still hesitates between lungs and gills. Death, as a return to the origins of life.
