The first photograph shows a dockworker that carries bananas from producers' trucks to the market-place. His shirt says "Mão de Obra", which means workforce. The second photograph is another worker that carries large bags of cassava from the dock to the market-place. The third photo shows two men unloading boxes of fish in the docks. The boxes are carried on men heads, who use a padded hat for supporting the heavy loads. The forth photo shows a pregnant woman, at dawn, cleaning the fish that is going to be sold in the market. The fifth photo shows a crab collector covered by mud in the Brazilian Mangroves. These workers spend the whole day dipped in mud looking for crabs in a hostile environment.
