I had a wonderful feeling when looking at a photograph of the abdomen of an elephant whose picture was taken somehow in the zoo. I felt that I was seeing the skin of an elephant for the first time, and,on the other hand,also felt that I knew this before. It is an animal which I look at in a zoo. When seeing an animal, I look at the form, the scale, the motion, and the "animal" to which they all were joined. I thought that I would concentrate on seeing "skin of an animal" by seeing the photograph cut down in time and space.
