The war in Afghanistan continues taking and destroying lives.Civilians have been killed by crossfire, improvised explosive devices, assassination, bombing, and night raids. Unexploded ordnance from previous wars and from US cluster bombs continue to kill even in the absence of fighting. 2 year-old Hajara got injured and lost both parents in an IED explosion in Herat , Western Afghanistan January 2013.
