Today, apartment is common style of residence in Korea. Millions of households are densely packed in large building towns; ironically, they usually do not know the people who live just next door. Living in such a stuffy space, I frequently feel like being isolated and trying to get out of the place. In this photographic work, Home and Neighbor, I wanted to deliver a metaphoric message of what our residences should really mean to us by representing a local village that have no fences or walls between houses. A 35mm DSLR camera and a pigment-based inkjet printer were main equipment for this work.
