Also for the project Reuters the Wider Image I have made series of pictures documented 16 cadets of the General Yermolov Cadet School from the southern Russian city of Stavropol during a training course at a base in the village of Sengileyevskoye. The General Yermolov Cadet School teaches its students the same subjects that they would learn in any other Russian middle school, but with an additional twist - it lays on special military and patriotic classes. The two-day course of tactical exercise, physical work out, weapons drills and car driving lessons was combined with camping training and prayers. The trainings were carried out under the patronage of the Cossacks of the Stavropol Region.
