I Stay Here is a photographic project that focuses on the immigration of the young generation of south of Italy toward other countries in Europe such as Germany, Switzerland and Uk. The series therefore, represents the catalyst of the willingness of the few remaining young people that still belong to a better future in their native land. These people are willing to grow up having their roots deep into the native “soil”, and, therefore, to be, once in full growth strong and proud just as the trees are. They know that the products of their challenge will be their best guarantee for future generations. They remain in their homeland in order to give a new example to follow, to give hope and to fight against mafia, conspiracy of silence and stereotypes. In the image Alex's legs were "planted" in the soil using a shovel.
