Visiting Olive

Entry Description

We are an ageing population and people like Olive are becoming more common. She is fighting for her independence, but relying on the state for this independence. She has no family and has to rely on carers. Olive is fortunate that she lives on astreet with neighbours who visit regularly. Yet she lives in a city of nine million people where the elderly are being neglected and forgotten. My photos document a lady I am very fond of. I know she enjoys the time we spend together and I am enjoying taking and showing her the photographs I make.
