I have always been drawn to sculpture. My first international trip began in Florence as a teenager. The emotion presented in the sculptures in the museums and around the city remained with me. I found myself creating a portfolio of work surrounding sculpture many years later, however, it wan't until a visit to an incredible photography exhibit in Paris last summer that I gave myself the creative license to introduce the public to this body of work. Polyxena is a detailed shot of a sculpture in Florence's Loggia dei Lanzi. It is one of my favorite photos appropriately taken where my love for this work began.
