I had the fortune of capturing this image when the sun was setting between buildings in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina. The contrast between the blue sky and the golden light being reflected by the metallic petals made for a very interesting scene. This big metallic flower is a sculpture made out of steel and aluminum located in Plaza de las Naciones Unidas in Buenos Aires. It was designed so that the petals open and close as the day progresses. A gift to the city by Argentine architect Eduardo Catalano.
