A two yearlong goal to drive to the Stelvio Pass came true in 2013 when I took a trip through Switzerland to Italy. This road is at an elevation of 2,757m above sea level. It is in fact the second highest paved mountain pass in the Alps. This trip proved to be a true challenge as a storm came in while at the summit of this spaghetti-draped road. The road acted as a division of the snow and grass that set in front of me; a reflection of life and its never ending balancing act.
