The series Landscan is focused on the impact of water in southern California. The images reflect on water and its absence as a mater of form, texture and color, but also visualizing water’s geo-political and environmental implications. Each image is made of over one hundred photographs each. The camera is suspended ten feet in the air with an extension pole, images are captured while walking over the ground then the exposures are stitched together into one contiguous image.
