'Like Mother, Like Daughter #1' is a photo-collage taken from part of a larger body of work-in-progress which questions personal memory, associations with place, and the profound relationship between mother and daughter. Are we one of the same? Is the birth of the daughter an opportunity to live again? And, can we re-tell our histories as we want them to read?
