Right in the heart of the most orthodox Iranian Shiite tradition there are developing plans for a large shopping mall and entertainment center on the model of similar structures of Western countries, with explicit references to symbols of American culture. This project is being born in the Iranian city of Mashhad where there is one of the most important religious building in the Islamic world.
