Duchenne muscular dystrophy is a disease that degenerates muscles of sufferers and that affects 1 in 3,500 children worldwide. This disease manifested at 5 years old, makes children use wheelchairs and gives to them a life expectancy of 40 years. Recently investigated a drug that slows Dystrophy, but in Spain, the government is not allowing these medicines even by the way of the compassionate use. The reason, purely economic.
