Urban Texture is the result of my recent two-year project spent exploring Shanghai’s downtown area, searching for stunning sights and finding lesser-known modern sites. Shanghai is a large and varied place, and serves as an endless source of visual inspiration. The initial goal of this project is to provide a fresh perspective on familiar urban sights, and also to reveal hidden beauty in the marginal, little-noticed details of everyday city life.
