In the series, Fears, Nightmares, & Dreams collide, I intend to share dreamlike portraits of surreal scenarios. The series was inspired by daydreams and nightmares that manifested into a twisted photographic reality involving gas masks and levitation.
Ben Mancino is an emerging artist that began his photography career in 7th grade. Now a decade later Mancino has made a commitment to quality, variety, and affordability. His unique style sets him apart from his competitors and continues to gain him new fans from various geographic locations. Mancino’s work has been published in art and literary magazines, newspapers, Mass. Wildlife magazine, and has been exhibited in multiple solo and group exhibitions. In July of 2014 Mancino won his first international wildlife photography award, “Shoot the Wild.” Mancino continues to bring inspiration to the field of photography and chooses not to categorize himself in any specific genre due to the fact that he does not want to limit his work. “I see the world in terms of photographs; nature photography is definitely one of my strongest passions but if I were to only shoot nature photography I would be missing out on all of the other things that inspire me on a day-to-day basis.” - Mancino
