For a commuter, the journey is not “the thing”, but just a part of the normally routine workday experience of getting to the office and back home. This series is part of an on-going project that shows the experiences of a railroad commuter.
Eric Williams is a Creative Director with a passion for landscape and railroad themed fine art photography. He lives in Millburn NJ, and travels by train and subway daily to his Manhattan employer. Trained as an industrial designer and creative director, he enjoys combining his mixed backgrounds and love of design, minimalism, and railroading in his photography to create imagery that highlights the relationship between the users of the rails and the contextual environment.
