The images in this series form a kaleidoscope of nature and human culture, revealing alternating patterns of decaying seaweeds entangled with discarded fishing gear on the pebble beaches of County Wicklow.
Stephanie N. Bryan (b. 1982) is a photographer, landscape historian, author, and printmaker from Atlanta, Georgia. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Art History and Studio Art from Oglethorpe University and a Masters of Landscape Architecture from the University of Georgia's College of Environment and Design. Among Stephanie’s honors and awards are the 2012 Damaris Horan Prize in Landscape History offered by the Royal Oak Foundation and the 2013 J. Neel Reid Prize enabled by the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation. Stephanie’s photographs have been accepted to numerous juried exhibitions throughout the United States and published in several journals and magazines.
