I've been visiting Naples Florida for over 50 years. For the last eight years or so I've been getting up before sunrise to walk the beach amid the quiet calm of the predawn. On many mornings, I arrive at the beach to find the remnants of a night storm. Normally I would have left the camera in the car thinking it would be a dull, flat and uninteresting sunrise. So about five years ago I noticed that the slow movings waves captured just a hint of light. I decided to see if I couldn't capture it. These images are the outcome of those efforts
