About the Artist:

AT FIRST WHEN I WAS YOUNG, PHOTOGRAPHY WAS A HOBBY OF MINE, A MATTER OF INTEREST. I STARTED MY CAREER AS A PROFESSIONAL AT TELEGRAPH OFFICE IN GANGTOK, SIKKIM IN INDIA. LATER I WAS POSTED AT PORT BLAIR, ANDAMAN & NICOBAR ISLANDS FOR TWO YEARS. THERE I STARTED MY JOURNEY AS A FINE ART PHOTOGRAPHER AND TOOK THIS ART FORM SERIOUSLY. ACTUALLY, NATURE COMPELLED ME TO DO SO. I STARTED FINDING STRANGE FORMS ON THE BARK OF TREES, ON THE SEASHORE CREATED NATURALLY BY WAVES. I STARTED NOTICING SURPRISING FORMS, SHAPES , IMAGES AT DIFFERENT TIMES IN A DAY BY THE EFFECT OF LIGHT AND SHADOWS. I DELVED INTO THE MYSTERIOUS UNIVERSE OF ABSTRACT PHOTOGRAPHY. TIME WENT ON AND I STARTED DISCOVERING MY SUBJECTS IN ANYTHING ON EARTH. ABSTRACTISM FILLED MY MIND AND I STARTED TO SEE FORMS IN THE BARKS OF TREES, ON THE FADED PLASTERS OF WALL, SANDY BEACHES, TORN POSTERS, WASTE MATERIALS THROWN AROUND US AND IN MANY MORE, ALMOST LIKE ANYTHING. MY RECENT WORKS ARE STILL INSPIRED BY THE ART OF NATURE, OUR ENVIRONMENT ITSELF.
