The photographs are a reflection of the current drought situation in East Porterville, California. East Porterville is a small town in central valley where has been an important agricultural area. However, due to the drought, the plants are continuously dying, lake is shrinking, the river is dried up, and there are 900 household in East Porterville having no water. The water supply is relied on fire station, drinking water donation, public shower etc. Also, since it is not a financially wealthy area, people are not able to leave or simply drilling wells down. The town went from a farming glory to a surviving struggle.
