I awoke one morning to find a test pattern on a TV that I had left on the previous night. I was taken aback because at a certain time in the past, TV stations didn’t broadcast for 24 hours. These test patterns were displayed when shows weren’t airing. This was before technology had the grip on the world that it does now. In this series I composited a picture of the test pattern on itself multiple times; then, with images of areas that technology has reached, but are actually still largely removed from such developments.
