Story

This series of images was created to illustrate the source of air pollution with the backdrop in Hong Kong through fashion photography to draw the attention of the public and invite the curious mind to stop, think and remember, thus calling for action to address the issue.

The main source of air pollution, particularly in Hong Kong comes from the abundant of vehicles on the street, emissions from container ships crossing the harbour, power plants, air pollutants generated by factories in the mainland blown to Hong Kong. It is also worsen by the densely built skyscrapers that trap the pollutants inside the city.

Each images are taken at location that describes the main source of air pollution in Hong Kong. Contrast is made with how she has to protect herself with a mask to live ‘naturally’ or being suffered when she does not.

Note: The photos are composed images of the model on the location being shot in different pose (wearing the mask, and without).
