In 2012 I suffered a severe concussion. My vision was damaged, in particular I was sensitive to light having to wear sunglasses at all times. During this period I sought refuge in nights along the sea. In the solitude under the light of the full moon I began to try to photograph again. What started as an attempt at healing allowed also a new way of envisioning the mystery of the American Northwest coast. The images present a world at once familiar, but one that is transformed in the radiant light of a full moon.
