I like the shapes of objects and their placement within the landscape (hay bales, water lilies, and trees for example). What interests me is how the natural objects changes shape, form and use throughout it’s cycle of life. I enjoy interacting, literally running through the fields, or water amongst these temporary sculptures which will most likely be all but a memory the following days. I like the shapes of the objects and their placement within the landscape. What interests me is how they changes shape, form and use throughout it’s cycle of life. The lengthy time-exposures and lighting technique allow me to focus and study a particular subject and its surrounding environment more intimately, such as the negative space. I am often physically involved in the process, in front of the camera, though unseen, but still part of the story.
