This year I spent my winter holidays with my family at Zermatt ski resort. Zermatt is a small picturesque town located at the foot of the Matterhorn. The entire town is a car-free zone. Almost all vehicles in Zermatt are battery driven and completely silent. There are number of places with the amazing view of Zermatt and Matterhorn, but most of these places are rather difficult to access. To reach this stunning view point I had to hike up the ski slope in the dead of the night for 20 minutes and then climb down off the slope to mount my tripod on the only one tiny level platform.
