Swayambhunath Temple - Kathamndu, April 2015
In April 2015 I’ve been in Nepal for my second visit after several years. This image has been captured before the 25th of the same month, when a 7.8 magnitude earthquake shocked the country.
The picture's blue background has been completely destroyed and the stupa temple behind me which the subject was trying to shoot has been dramatically affected too.
That day I squatted down and waited 25 minutes for this picture to come but I could never image that after few days this place wouldn't ever been the same.
