Taken while working under NMFS Permit #10018 during research activities pursuant to this permit. While studying a mother and her young calf, we were fortunate to get a close encounter. This baby boy hung out and played in front of the camera for almost a half hour. After getting the research shots necessary to document behavior, we were able to try and capture a more artistic over/under!
