Art photographer, Heidi Wrage, has been creating pictures since 1990. Her interest in the medium began in Dallas, TX where she studied at The Photographic Center under Chris Regas. Heidi’s work has been in numerous juried and invitational shows throughout Texas, Arizona, California and New York. She has had five solo exhibits, three of them in Los Angeles. Heidi’s photographs were featured in LIFE magazine in the article entitled “Searching for the Soul,” along with other notable photographers Arthur Tress and Adam Fuss. A ten photo essay of her work was published in SEASONS magazine which was published by Guest Informant (1998). Heidi’s painted photographs were published as illustrations for a psychology textbook by Harcourt, Brace & Javonovich in 1992. Ms. Wrage’s photography is represented by The Afterimage Gallery in Dallas, TX (the oldest photography-only gallery in the U.S.) and by Art Source L.A, a fine art consultancy in Santa Monica. In general, Heidi’s work concentrates on the spiritual and the abstract found in everyday life. Her recent work involves observing and capturing images around where she lives and works in Los Angeles.
