Locals and tourists take part in the 'Bous a la Mar' (Bull in the Sea) on July in Denia, Spain. 'Bous a la Mar' is part of the folk festival 'Santisima Sangre.' The Bull Run takes place every year. People attempt to outrun violent bulls with long horns. Many have died attempting it. The event in Denia sees locals and tourists through the harbour where there is a small bull ring. Without touching the bulls they attempt to get the bull into the sea. Most end up jumping in to the water in order to escape.
