Bernadette Hall stands in front of the dairy that she built with her husband, David who was murdered on the farm by robbers while they were milking cows in the early morning. In July 2012 an 18 year old farmer Mduduzi Majola, was murdered on the farm where he worked by jelous co workers. His father Malandela Majola works on a diary farm. A grief-stricken Malandela Majola said, ‘“They’ve hit me where it hurts the most. My son was a hard worker and showed signs for a brighter future. He loved working on the land; farming was in his blood.’
